It was at the Fall Harvest Festival just before the Mayor gave his speech that Todd Lakewood asked Tammy Apollo to be his wife. He knelt down right in front of the refreshment table, and recited his own poem.
You are my friend
And because of you
Please be my wife.
Tammy looked at her father whom was watching it all transpire. He nodded, but rolled his eyes to his wife that smiled as the two eight-year-old children with scuffed elbows and tussled wind blown hair had some free apple cider and pretended they were married.
